Mattel (Spec Work)

Mattel asked us to help generate ideas for a new toy product line still in concepting stages. We came together and journeyed through a strategic and creative process that included disecting the audiences, naming the product lines and designing an experience for the brand.

 

We created a visual system that was differentiating and flexible across

all possible touchpoints.

 

This particular direction was based on the idea that the user of the new toy was the “King of their Kingdom,” which elevated the ideas of imagination and personalization. Through this concept, we were able to present that any

customer would be able to use a customization program creating an endless landscape for play, which translated into all touchpoints, including the actual toy and packaging.
